It's 3 CUPS of water and not 3 Quarts. After figuring out that very important part of the recipe out the "pasta" turned out great in my risotto recipe.

I am normally a huge fan of Jovial pasta. I purchased this orzo for the 1st time today and was not impressed. It ended up like glue and a mushy mess.

I wouldn't recommend this orzo for soups, sadly. After adding it to the soup I prepared, it became very thick and mushy. Perhaps this orzo is better on its own, but it is not a good addition to soups.

Love this cassava orzo. The quality and the taste. I made it with chicken and sautéed some onion and mushrooms, delicious wish they had this in pasting too!

I was having company for dinner and was making a Greek roasted leg o f lamb. I have been missing rice pilaf since going gluten free 3 years ago. Tonight I made a rice pilaf using Jasmine rice and Jovial cassava orzo. It was so delicious I couldn't believe it! I made it the traditional way by sautéing onions in butter, then adding the rice and sautéing a few minutes, then adding the orzo and spices, and then adding simmering chicken broth and additional butter. Covered and simmered for 20 minutes until all liquid had been absorbed. So happy that I can make my rice pilaf again. Thank you Jovial!
