We remain committed to being 100% honest and transparent with our customers. We prepare all jovial products with great care and always keep food sensitivities and allergy safety top of mind.

While there are allergens present in some of our manufacturing facilities, we follow very strict sterilization protocols in between production runs. In addition, we have regular testing procedures in place to ensure we meet GFCO standards on our products that are certified gluten free.

While we have strict processes and systems in place to eradicate any possible cross-contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee this and encourage you to make the best, informed decision for you and/or your families.

Mustard Disclaimer

While mustard is not a required declared allergen in the United States, we want to make our consumers aware of the potential for cross-contamination with certain products.
Some of the crops used in our products are grown and harvested in regions of Italy where mustard is also present as an invasive or naturally occurring crop. As a result, there is a potential risk of unintended mustard seed presence in products made from these crops. Mustard is never intentionally included in our products, but we are currently unable to test for its presence.
If you have a mustard allergy or sensitivity, we recommend that you do not consume products made from crops grown in these regions, out of an abundance of caution.
Black Bean Disclaimer

*Because soy beans are grown in the same area as our black beans, there is a risk of inclusivity. While we have strict processes and systems in place to significantly reduce the risk of cross contamination close to zero, we cannot 100% guarantee. If you have a severe soy allergy we recommend that you do not consume this product to err on the side of caution.
Tomato Disclaimer -(Crushed and Diced)

*While there are some shared line allergens listed above, our jovial crushed and diced tomatoes are produced in a season where nothing else is made on the same production lines. Any allergens present on the line are during our off-season, therefore posing an incredibly small risk for cross-contamination. Our Whole Peeled tomatoes are made at a different facility, that is completely allergy free.
