Italian Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 cups Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated
  • 12 ounce package Jovial Brown Rice Fettuccine
  • Fresh chives, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter on low heat. Add the salt and set aside.
  2. Cook the pasta according to instructions, reserving ¼ cup of pasta cooking water when draining the pasta.
  3. Heat the butter to a slight sizzle on medium heat, add the drained pasta, and grated cheese on top. Toss the pasta with the butter and cheese in the skillet for 1 minute, add in the pasta cooking water to make the sauce creamy. Add fresh chives to garnish
  4. Serve the pasta from the skillet.
