Gluten Free Shells with Creamy Walnut Sauce

Gluten Free Pasta Shells & Walnut Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons Jovial Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh marjoram, minced
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 12 ounce package of Jovial Brown Rice Shells

Instructions

  1. Add walnuts, olive oil, garlic, parsley, marjoram, salt, and red pepper to a food processor and process until finely chopped.
  2. Add heavy cream and cheese and process until smooth.
  3. Cook pasta according to instructions. Remove 3 tablespoons of pasta cooking water and stir into the walnut sauce before draining the pasta.
  4. Toss pasta with sauce, add grated cheese, and serve.
