- Cut the broccoli into florets and set aside.
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil and cook pasta according to packaging instructions, reserving 1 cup of the pasta cooking liquid. When 2 minutes remain, add the broccoli into the same pot with the pasta.
- Meanwhile, mix the hummus, olive oil, and 2 tablespoons of the reserved pasta cooking liquid together in a large bowl.
- When the pasta is al dente, drain the pasta and broccoli florets. Add to a bowl of ice water and let cool.
- In the large bowl with the hummus mixture, add the red pepper, onion, olives, salt, and pepper.
- Add the drained pasta and broccoli, toss until well distributed. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
