The Story

We love to work in Italy because our manufacturers are large enough to supply our market, but small enough to still do things the right way, even if it means the involvement of many hands. Our beans are grown on small, organic farms in the Piemonte region of Italy. They are sorted by hand before being soaked for 24 hours. Then they are rinsed with fresh water and cooked. The jars are filled with the cooked beans, water and a bit of salt is added, then the jars are sealed and sterilized. Once the beans are cooled and the jars are wiped down, the labels are applied and the product is packed up to ship.

    NIce peas

    These peas were so nice and so flavorful. They were not mushy like others I have had before and I really loved the taste of them. Just really nice and could be used in a ton of different ways. I am loving everything I have gotten by Jovial Foods. Just wish the products weren't quite so expensive.

    These are REALLY good!

    I normally don't like peas, not at all. I try to eat them occasionally for the sake of 'good nutrition.' These peas still taste like 'peas' to me, but they are much better than any other canned peas I've ever tried. I've been looking forward to using them in soups, stews, and just as a vegetable instead of dreading adding peas to our 'menu' for a meal. Next time I buy peas, I'll definitely buy THESE. Even better than the taste, they are organic AND packed in glass jars, which is the main reason I tried them in the first place. So glad I tried them!

    So much better than tinned or frozen peas.

    I love peas and since I found these peas I would be hard pushed to settle for any other brand. They are succulent sweet peas that taste like they just came out the f the garden. Nice flavor.

    New to me.

    I just used my first jar because I ran out of frozen peas. I used them in a pasta (Jovial) salad and they worked great! Not as firm or as bright green, but nutritious and tasty.

    Delicious and fresh.

    Couldn’t find organic frozen peas in supermarkets. So glad this was in my pantry! Added to a beef stew.
