The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    Pancakes are Good!

    This mix makes really good pancakes, but the waffle wasn't as good (yes, I followed the different instructions for waffles). It broke apart really easy coming out of the waffle iron even though it was golden brown. But I enjoy making pancakes out of it!

    My husbands favorite

    Ever since my SIL turned us on to your products this mix is my husbands must have. I personally do not eat pancakes but my husband does.

    Healthier the better is our motto at our age.
