The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    So easy to make and excellent ingredients. They are so delicious. You can add some crushed pineapple or blueberries and make them even more desirable. We loved it that you can make a small batch, medium or the entire package, instructions on the back. Outstanding job Jovial!!! Great Product!! Thank you....highly recommend this if you love pancakes or waffles.

    Happy Sunday!

    Made the pancakes as directed one at a time in my new 8" stainless frying pan. I put a bit of butter in the pan and waited until I saw the bubbles in the pancake and they turned over beautifully, no sticking! Got 6 perfectly browned pancakes for our dinner along with an egg. OMG I didn't even need any maple syrup on mine just a slather of butter they were absolutely delicious!! Even the dog had a couple bites and he wanted more! Great mix to enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner!! I love all your Einkorn items!!
