Premium Einkorn Baking Kit

My daughter is gluten sensitive but not celiac and we had tried several brands of store-bought gluten free bread. Unfortunately, none of them were enjoyable to the taste: just barely palatable. I knew there had to be something better out there so I started to do some research regarding flour blends. I came across the word "einkorn" and it intrigued me so I delved into its properties and was thrilled to find Jovial Einkorn flour at one of our health food stores. My adventure with a bread made with Einkorn flour in the bread machine was a delicious success! My journey began. I incorporated some of the Jovial Whole Wheat Einkorn and also tried the pizza dough recipe on the back of the flour bag. That was a hit as well. However, the health food store was not conveniently close by, so I decided to see if Jovial had its own retail site. How happy I was to find it! I purchased the premium baking kit since I wanted to find more recipes and experiment with sourdough. Not only is the kit very well priced for its contents, but I was blown away by the presentation of the kit. All of the components were carefully wrapped and placed in a gift box and tied with a burlap striped ribbon just like the present it was. What company would take the time to do that except one that cares about its customers and is proud of its products? Well, for me it sealed the deal.

Wow! After recently getting turned on to Jovial's Einkorn flours I decided to buy this set since it came with the Einkorn cookbook, 3 bags of Einkorn and a kitchen scale, which I needed badly. It included other items too including a pan, a Couche (which I'd never heard of), and a couple of handy tools., making it a worthy buy. I even found a coupon on-line that brought it to just over $100 with free shipping.

I cannot express how impressed I am with this set!! First of all, it arrived beautifully in a stylishly wrapped quality brown box (completely reusable for storing things or used as a gift box for someone else) and a nice thick striped ribbon...I literally felt at that moment that I was opening a "present" for myself. Inside there was more brown Kraft crinkly filler to help protect all the amazing items inside...

There of course was the flour, completely intact :) Next, I opened the scale which I then proceeded to weigh various items and test it's accuracy - it was perfect and it feels of really nice quality. I'm definitely going to put it to good use! The Couche is large and thick, but honestly, I didn't know what to expect since I'd never used or heard of one before. It's now washed and waiting for it's first use. The cookbook is AMAZING! So many tips and beautiful recipes...it's endless and has wonderful photos and instructions. So worth it!
