The Story of Jovial and Brown Rice

Several years ago, Carla approached a Tuscan pasta factory with the idea of making an organic gluten free pasta with only one ingredient, organic brown rice flour. She also asked that the pasta be pressed with traditional bronze dies, not with the Teflon dies used by today’s large pasta manufacturers. Additionally, the pasta had to be dried at low temperatures. No small feat for gluten free, but she had a hunch that jovial consumers would taste & appreciate the difference.

    I can't believe I'm giving a GF item 5 stars, but jovial GF pasta deserves every star and a couple more. I've recently had to become GF..I tried a few different GF pastas but didn't really love any of them so I essentially gave up pasta…until now. Wow. Wow. Wow. I like this pasta just as much as regular pasta. In fact, I'm not sure I could tell a difference in texture or taste in all honesty (at least with sauce; I did not try a bite without sauce). Kudos to Jovial Foods. Im thrilled! Pasta's back on the menu!!

    This is the first gluten free pasta that makes my entire family happy to eat spaghetti again! I have severe digestive issues due to intestinal endometriosis and eating wheat pasta is simply out of the question.

    Adding to the accolades above, this (and all the Jovial pastas we've tried) is the best GF pasta we've found. We've shared it with many gluten-eating loved ones, and they can't tell the difference. The noodles do not get mushy or break into little pieces like other GF pastas. I also love the eco-friendly shipping materials and pasta packaging from Jovial. That's what originally drew me to your company and keeps me coming back. Thank you!

    I have tried numerous brands of gluten free pasta and Jovial is by far the best! Spaghetti is what I purchase the most, but I've tried almost all of the different shapes. It cooks quick, it's never gummy and even those who don't normally eat GF, think it's delicious!
