The Story of Jovial and Brown Rice

Several years ago, Carla approached a Tuscan pasta factory with the idea of making an organic gluten free pasta with only one ingredient, organic brown rice flour. She also asked that the pasta be pressed with traditional bronze dies, not with the Teflon dies used by today’s large pasta manufacturers. Additionally, the pasta had to be dried at low temperatures. No small feat for gluten free, but she had a hunch that jovial consumers would taste & appreciate the difference.

    Superb.

    I am a health coach. And when my clients are looking for products that are gluten and or grain free, I always leave them to jovial. Not only are you getting high-quality products with cleaning ingredients but also they taste delicious. They cook up and taste in texture as the real thing. You never know you’re eating gluten-free by the taste.

    Versatile!

    This was a great addition to my soup! I am both vegan and gluten-free, so options are often limited or not easily accessible. Since this orzo is only made with 2 ingredients, it serves as a great, wholesome carb to my meals. I'm excited to have this as an option for pasta dishes, soup, salads, sides, and more!
