The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    THE best tasting whole wheat pasta I’ve ever had!

    I’ve been ordering the einkorn linguine for many years and it never disappoints. Always very fresh as if it had just been made. Even my 91 year-old father can’t differentiate it from regular white wheat pasta. Delicious!
