We are happy to offer classic gluten free lasagna noodles. In Italy the flat lasagna noodle is preferred over the wavy version. Our classic lasagna noodles are crafted in Italy using time-honored production methods. Our master pasta artisans use bronze dies and slow drying to create award-winning taste and texture. Jovial brown rice lasagna is as close to traditional as gluten free can be. Don't worry! If you prefer wavy noodles over flat, we offer those too.

The Story of Jovial and Brown Rice

Several years ago, Carla approached a Tuscan pasta factory with the idea of making an organic gluten free pasta with only one ingredient, organic brown rice flour. She also asked that the pasta be pressed with traditional bronze dies, not with the Teflon dies used by today’s large pasta manufacturers. Additionally, the pasta had to be dried at low temperatures. No small feat for gluten free, but she had a hunch that jovial consumers would taste & appreciate the difference.

    I have been looking for gluten free lasagna noodles for years. My daughter made lasagna yesterday and it was so good. I usually use zuchini but no more. Iloved that the noodles were tender and yet firm. I will always keep a box on hand from now on!

    We had our monthly family dinner on Saturday January 20 2024. The temperature was below freezing. I decided to make the Jovial recipe. I ran over to the Harris Teeter to purchase their last 2 boxes of Jovial lasagna noodles. The recipe was super easy to make. For our family of 7 I made 1.5 times the recipe. Everyone raved about the lasagna. Comments:

    - The sauce is so delicious, not too acidic

    - The noodles melt in your mouth

    - Our 5 year grand daughter said she loved it

    - Delicious!! Delicious!!

    - Everyone wanted leftovers to take home

    We plan to make it again!!

    I always have a box of Jovial lasagna in my pantry. It is the best gluten-free lasagna on the market. This no-boil pasta is easy to use in the various ways I make lasagna. Our family favorite is a vegetable lasagna using zucchini and butternut squash. Even my guests who are not gluten-free love this pasta. I know because, besides the praises for my dish, there are never any leftovers!
