The Story of Jovial and Brown Rice

Several years ago, Carla approached a Tuscan pasta factory with the idea of making an organic gluten free pasta with only one ingredient, organic brown rice flour. She also asked that the pasta be pressed with traditional bronze dies, not with the Teflon dies used by today’s large pasta manufacturers. Additionally, the pasta had to be dried at low temperatures. No small feat for gluten free, but she had a hunch that jovial consumers would taste & appreciate the difference.

    I miss angel hair pasta and I heard about this pasta from a gluten free Facebook page that I'm on, so I decided to give it a try. I love it! It is the best GF pasta that I've tried and I've been through several brands. It's quick cooking and not gummy. Great for pasta sauces and an easy lo main noodle substitute too.

    This is our favorite gluten free pasta. Not grainy like some of the other brands. I would say it's a solid dupe for typical standard pasta. With this we don't miss the original.

    I've been using Jovial Gluten Free Pasta for over a year now. It's hard to tell the difference from regular pasta. I find all of their gluten free pastas really great!
