      Great informative book

      New to eikhorn and wanted something with a better gluten rating. I am looking forward to trying all the recipes. Gracie molto. We have destroyed our native grains with horrific farming practices and chemicals and need to get back to what we were given. An incredible planet with everything to offer . Peace

      Recipes not as good as I hoped

      So far, the recipes have not been as good as I hoped. I've made pancakes, biscuits, brown bread, the sandwich loaf. I have been meticulous in following the recipes. I weigh everything. I'm using freshly ground einkorn shipped from Grand Teton brand flour. On Sunday, I made pancakes using my Mom's old Betty Crocker cookbook, half einkorn all purpose, half whole wheat einkorn. They were outstanding. So, the wheat is delicious. Maybe these recipes are to be used with jovial wheat only. I plan on try the appetizer quick bread, the quick artisan loaf and chocolate chip cookies next. Really trying to give this book a chance.

      Yes, these recipes were developed with jovial einkorn all purpose flour and jovial einkorn whole wheat flour. Without knowing how finely the other brands are milled or the ratio of bran and germ that it contains recipes will come out differently but the basics should be helpful!       I am very new to using einkorn and just at the beginning stages of making sourdough, and this cookbook has been a huge help! It explains everything in easy step-by-step instructions with beautiful pictures. I am beyond excited to use this cookbook to expand my einkorn baking to more than just bread!

      I absolutely love this recipe book. I've been Gluten-free for 7 years and very frustrated with not being able to eat my favorite foods...fresh baked breads. That is until now. The bread is amazing. I've made 2 breads so far and can't wait to try sooo many more recipes. Thank you for putting this book together.
