The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    This stuff is fantastic, I’m hoping they’ll come out with an unsweetened version. The texture is crispy but light, very reminiscent of Sugar snaps from back in the 70s, doesn’t go soggy but it’s not as hard as granola, very easy to digest, I’m delighted with it, back to order five more boxes.

    Yummy!

    Our entire family loves this cereal! We stopped eating cereal’s about 15 years ago because of the ingredients. So this is a fun treat for us! It’s delicious and tastes similar to “honey smacks” cereal. The only thing i wish is that they used 100% honey to sweeten it instead of a mixture of honey and organic sugar.

    Delicious Cereal!

    Thank you for making this, I absolutely love this cereal. It is perfectly sweetened to be delicious, but I would also like it if you would make an unsweetened version so we can control the amount of sweetener we add.
