The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    I love the texture, flavor and nutritional profile of Jovial einkorn. I love that einkorn is an ancient, heirloom grain that has not been modified by humans. Try it, and you will not go back!!

    Pasta you can feel great about!!! I have always opt for whole wheat pasta, but after finding jovial, it's the only brand I eat....You know its a clean wholesome product. Best of all, it doesn't leave you feeling heavy or with bloat and a troubled stomach like many whole wheat pastas....

    So glad we found this pasta! We loved the flavor and how it's not kind of chalky like the pasta you get from the local grocery store! Only stuff we eat now!

    Jovial Einkorn pasta is the only pasta we eat, it's that good. My husband and son are gluten intolerant (not allergic) but they can eat einkorn wheat and einkorn wheat products without any issues. We choose the whole wheat products for pasta, and this Penne is fantastic. Perfect density, texture and the flavor is exceptional. I love serving guests this pasta, as they always rave over whatever I make with it, always asking what makes my recipe stand out. I tell them, it's the Jovial pasta!

    Oh my goodness, what a wonderful discovery this pasta was! We were looking for a healthier discovery than just plain pasta from the grocery store. This has a great, slight "nutty" flavor that compliments however you serve it. It does not taste too "wheat-y" like other whole wheat pastas that have sent the family complaining. :) It has been terrific in both pasta salads and served with a sauce over it. LOVE this stuff!!
