The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    Amazing Pancakes

    I love this mix! I make peanut butter banana sandwiches with 2 pancakes. It does not last one day it is so good!

    Incredibly quickly homemade and low gluten, easily digested pancakes!

    Love to add a scant one half a cup of organic high protein oats which have soaked in 1/4 cup of milk or buttermilk to I cup of the pancake mix which I have already blended with 1/2 of buttermilk and beaten egg. They are delicious!

    These are really good. As good as

    making them from scratch and so much easier. I added vanilla and cinnamon to give more flavor. We’ll buy these again.
