The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    I've been sensitive to gluten foods, including gluten free that gave me rashes and found Jovial's Eikorn pastas, crackers and even cookies that do not cause me any negative reactions. Best of all, my children like them too! FINALLY, nutritional ancient grains I can feel good about giving my family and enjoying myself. Thank you Jovial!

    This pasta is amazing! I have followed a gluten free diet due to sensitivity for years and have been using einkorn products for a few months now without any negative effects. This pasta has such a nice flavor and texture. I'll always keep it in stock. So thankful to have found Jovial products!

    Just tried the traditional penne made with einkorn. It's very good! I had a little learning curve cooking it to get it al dente, but it's all good now. Tasty and great texture!
