The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    Love the cereal puffs.

    This reminds me of Super Sugar Crisp cereal. This was very tasty. It was quite sweet, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, so if Jovial could cut the sugar in half, it would still be sweet enough. But this was very good still. Thank you for producing a cereal with einkorn flour.

    Reminds me and my husband of Sugar Smacks as kids. We love this cereal. We sprinkle it on Natures Path cereal.

    Tasty!

    To be honest, I tried Jovial’s new Einkorn Cereal Puffs just to round out an order. I was very pleasantly surprised that it tasted exactly as I had hoped. It is very reminiscent of Post Golden Crisp that I ate as a child, just not as sticky or sweet. We eat very little cereal in our home, but this is a nice treat to have around.

    Wow!

    The new einkorn cereal puffs are a real treat! Absolutely delicious! I was hesitant based on a history of loathing childhood puffed cereals but let me say that these puffs are a horse of a different color! Bravo to the Jovial few for another home run!
