Premium Einkorn Baking Kit

I love my starter kit--it has everything a beginner like me needs. I found many wonderful recipes in the book and can't wait to try some of them.

-Unfortunately, my oven stopped working before I received the kit, lol. But we are working on getting my new one in place (a little remodeling is going on before we install it...) Once my oven is in, I will begin working on my starter for the sour dough :)

Lots of stuff in the pack. Just what I needed to get started on my Einkorn bread journey. There is enough flour for a few loves and refreshing for days. I love the digital scale. It sits a bit higher than my previous one which is helpful. The window is large for easy reading of the numbers.

I love the kneading tool!! I’m new to bread, baking. I couldn’t imagine making corn without this!

The linen couche is great. The dough doesn’t stick like to a flour sack cloth. Great.

Several recipes in the book I want to try. Good info about einkorn in addition. But as a first time baker, the website videos are what I needed. Now the book seems doable.

This made a marvelous gift to start someone off on their einkorn experience! My friend has been enjoying it as she has been trying out the recipes. The book has been invaluable since this wheat is quite different in behavior to the modern wheat that we are accustomed to.

In addition to this set, I bought her the einkorn sourdough starter as well. Just be forewarned that they only offer that during the cooler months of the year and even then it does sell out quickly.

My daughter is gluten sensitive but not celiac and we had tried several brands of store-bought gluten free bread. Unfortunately, none of them were enjoyable to the taste: just barely palatable. I knew there had to be something better out there so I started to do some research regarding flour blends. I came across the word "einkorn" and it intrigued me so I delved into its properties and was thrilled to find Jovial Einkorn flour at one of our health food stores. My adventure with a bread made with Einkorn flour in the bread machine was a delicious success! My journey began. I incorporated some of the Jovial Whole Wheat Einkorn and also tried the pizza dough recipe on the back of the flour bag. That was a hit as well. However, the health food store was not conveniently close by, so I decided to see if Jovial had its own retail site. How happy I was to find it! I purchased the premium baking kit since I wanted to find more recipes and experiment with sourdough. Not only is the kit very well priced for its contents, but I was blown away by the presentation of the kit. All of the components were carefully wrapped and placed in a gift box and tied with a burlap striped ribbon just like the present it was. What company would take the time to do that except one that cares about its customers and is proud of its products? Well, for me it sealed the deal.
