    The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

    When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

      Perfect!!

      This starter is awesome, I tried making my own starter last year and my bread just was never just right. This starter arrived on time and I fed it the day it arrived, I refreshed it each week for 3 weeks and today I made the perfect bread! Thank you for sharing your 15 year old starter with us!!
