The Story of Jovial and Brown Rice

Several years ago, Carla approached a Tuscan pasta factory with the idea of making an organic gluten free pasta with only one ingredient, organic brown rice flour. She also asked that the pasta be pressed with traditional bronze dies, not with the Teflon dies used by today’s large pasta manufacturers. Additionally, the pasta had to be dried at low temperatures. No small feat for gluten free, but she had a hunch that jovial consumers would taste & appreciate the difference.

    Amazing for Pasta Salad

    Love the texture! Lots of gluten-free pastas tend to land on too gritty or too gummy, but Jovial's gets that perfect al dente consistency normal pasta has. I love that it's only 2 ingredients, water and organic brown rice. It allows me and my loved ones to eat with a peaceful mind and fuller bellies!

    Brown Rice Farfalle

    My family tried this for the first time, and really enjoyed it. We used it in a cold Mediterranean pasta salad. The texture is not gummy, as other gluten-free pastas tend to be. It held its shape and we would purchase again.

    Fantastic

    I've been serving your gluten free pasta to my friends that are not gluten free. Every single person is impressed and asks where I get the pasta from. When I tell them it is gluten free, they're shocked. By far the best GF pasta I have ever had, including from restaurants.
