The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    We are in love with all of the einkorn pastas! The whole wheat is not chewy at all! Just delicious! Would love to see

    Einkorn lasagna sheets next! :) And the olive oil is amazing too!

    I usually use Jovial brown rice pasta, but tried this Einkorn linguine last week and I loved it! I made it with chicken, ham, spinach, mozzarella, parmesan cheeses. Add a little cream and wow...a GREAT dinner! I am back for more! I am gluten intolerant, but can eat Jovial Einkorn products with no issues. Thank you!

    I have a recipe for pasta, olive oil, feta cheese & olives. It's a change from pasta and tomato sauce. The einkorn linguine is the perfect pasta for my recipe and I try and always have it in the pantry.
