The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    So glad we found this pasta! We loved the flavor and how it's not kind of chalky like the pasta you get from the local grocery store! Only stuff we eat now! Also love that it doesn't sit super heavy in your stomach

    I love all your whole grain einkorn products! This is my favorite pasta. It is toothsome and has great flavor with all kinds of sauces. I am looking forward to trying einkorn in baking recipes in the future.

    This is by far the best and my most favorite pasta in the world. Not only is it tasty, but it's extremely healthy for you because of it's einkorn whole wheat ingredient. Your body can digest einkorn wheat, which is the only unadulterated wheat variety in today's market. It has a high nutrient content compared to general whole wheat pastas, the texture is fabulous, and you don't feel tired or bloated after eating it. It's the only pasta I ever buy. Once you have this pasta, all other pasta's taste and feel inferior. I can't go back to any other pasta and I'm so happy.

    I didn't realize the artificial ingredients that make up store bought macaroni until about 2 years ago. I thought I was doomed from making Mac and cheese then I came across Jovial foods and love their pasta that's actually HEALTHY and has value to it......LOVE it!!!
