The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    Eating Pre-History

    This is a great product that I personally can't find in my local supermarket. Einkorn is much healthier than modern wheat. As far as anyone knows, it's the same wheat that our ancestors in Ancient Europe ate. It only has two simple ingredients, Einkorn & water. It's tasty pasta.

    So glad we found this pasta! We loved the flavor and how it's not kind of chalky like the pasta you get from the local grocery store! Only stuff we eat now! Also love that it doesn't sit super heavy in your stomach
