The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    Tried this for the first time and made a Greek style pasta salad with feta, roasted red bell pepper, Greek olives, and artichoke. It was truly delicious. Will definitely continue buying this.

    Jovial pasta is the only pasta I will feed my family. This ancient grain (einkorn) is minimally processed and from a source I can trust. It is easier to digest than standard wheat. We use the einkorn pasta and the brown rice pasta and my 5 kids love it. I recommend it to everyone.

    I come from an Italian family where pasta was a mainstay! When I found my system couldn't tolerate grains anymore, I found Einkorn didn't bother me! This is the best pasta! And I don't miss the other traditional pasta anymore! Thank you!
