This Borlotti Bean and Tuna Pasta Salad is an effortlessly simple recipe that's nutritious as well as comforting. After draining your pasta, simply toss in juicy cherry tomatoes and salty tuna with our organic Borlotti Beans and flavorful Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Finish it off with Bionaturae Balsamic Vinegar and fresh thyme for a tasty lunch or dinner in a snap. We used our ancient grain Einkorn Fusilli for extra flavor, nutrition, and fuel, but this recipe will be fabulous with your favorite kind of Jovial Fusilli shape!
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to instructions on box.
- Transfer cooked pasta to a bowl, mix in 1 tablespoon olive oil and cool in fridge.
- Make pasta topping: Drain tuna and beans and put in a large bowl.
- Chop cherry tomatoes into halves and add to bowl.
- Pour over 3 tablespoons olive oil and balsamic vinegar and mix until every ingredient is coated.
- Add salt, pepper, and fresh thyme to taste.
- Add cooled pasta and toss until well distributed.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil before serving. Serve cold.
