Kidney Bean Burgers

Ingredients

 

Makes 4 burger patties

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse kidney beans.
  2. Chop beans coarsely with a knife to resemble the same texture as ground meat.
  3. Mix beans and garlic powder into ground meat. Form four patties.
  4. Cook patties in a pan or on a grill, just like you would cook traditional burgers. Serve plain or on a bun with toppings, as desired.

  • Hello. I am intrigued by lthis idea, however I am a vegan so I wondered that if I made the burgers using just the beans would I have to add some flour perhapes, to help bind it together? What are your thoughts?
