- In a large skillet as wide as the length of the linguine, place dry pasta on the bottom of the pan.
- Add tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, oregano, beans, basil, salt and pepper.
- Pour water over the ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, then cook on medium heat uncovered for 15 minutes.
- As soon as pasta softens, stir frequently.
- Serve from the skillet with freshly grated cheese.
