Jovial in Canada

It’s been a long time coming, but jovial products are finally making their way to the shelves of many fine retail stores across Western Canada. That’s right, you can now find a nice selection of jovial Organic Gluten Free Brown Rice Pasta (spaghetti, fusilli, penne and tagliatelle), as well as jovial gluten free and einkorn cookies. Many of you have been wondering when jovial’s einkorn flour and pasta will be sold in Canada. The great news is that coming in April, stores in Western Canada will also stock jovial all-purpose einkorn flour, as well as our whole grain einkorn pasta (spaghetti, penne and fusilli). We are very excited to extend our product line to our neighbors up north and look forward to continuing our expansion. For those of you who are new to einkorn, you will be excited to learn that einkorn has 30% more protein and 15% less starch than modern wheat and more protein than any other grain, as well as an abundance of b vitamins and trace minerals. Einkorn is nature’s original wheat and the only wheat never to have been hybridized. Although it is not safe for individuals with celiac disease, many people with gluten sensitivity find they can eat einkorn with no symptoms.
