Rigatoni with Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Bionaturae Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • zest of one lemon
  • Parmigiano Reggiano cheese shavings
  • 1 LB Bionaturae Rigatoni

With a simple list of ingredients, roasted broccoli is the star of the show in this quick and tasty recipe. We made this recipe with broccoli, but any short cut of Bionaturae pasta will do.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine broccoli, garlic, olive oil, pepper, and salt to taste on a large baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 10 minutes until broccoli is tender and a bit charred. Add lemon zest.
  3. Cook pasta in 4 quarts of salted, boiling water for 12 minutes. Stir frequently.
  4. Add to large serving bowl, toss in roasted broccoli, top with cheese, and serve.
