Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

(Makes about 1 ¾ cups)

  • ½ cup Bionaturae Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tsp. dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 ¼  tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 1 ½ cups extra virgin olive oil

This simple vinaigrette is an easy recipe that can be made in advance (great for meal prep) and stored in your refrigerator for three weeks. It's a versatile dressing that can be used on salads, sandwiches, roasted vegetables, as a marinade, etc! Plus, it's made with only premium ingredients, so you can avoid the additives and preservatives found in most store-bought salad dressings! 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. In a small jar (or blender) add the balsamic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt and pepper.
  2. Using an immersion blender or regular blender mix well (about 30 seconds).
  3. Gradually add in the olive oil and blend for about 1 minute until you have a thick consistency.
  4. Store in a jar (airtight) in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
