Made from nature's original wheat, einkorn has remained untouched by modern hybridization and large-scale agriculture for 12,000 years. Einkorn is fast becoming the wheat of choice for the gluten sensitive due to its very weak gluten. All Purpose is a high-extraction, lighter flour that has had 20% of the bran and germ removed after milling and will stay fresh longer. Bake beautiful bread, cakes, muffins, and cookies with Jovial's Organic Einkorn Flour—it’s much easier to work with than gluten free flour.

The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    As I have a gluten sensitivity, but also love bread, I was looking for a good flour to use, as gluten free breads are often not as nice and store bought has a lot of preservatives in it. So I started my quest to bake my own bread and this Einkorn Flour is a must. Lovely tasting bread, not gut issues and the whole family is converted now as well.

    Love the Einkorn flour!

    I bake not only the sour dough bread, but use it for all and everything that requires flour: pancakes, pies, cake & even pasta!

    I found Einkorn flour and since I began trying it our lives are so much different. I no longer have processed food in our home, all homemade with Einkorn flour. I use over 10 lbs per month as some months as much as 20 lbs. The flavor is nothing you ever experienced, it's truly a delicious and rewarding to my family that none of us miss processed food but instead home made breads and so much more. I love this product and can't imagine going back. Our health is so much better. Highly recommend this product, you will have no regrets. As Julia Chiles said it best, Bon Appetite.

    I've watched hundreds of videos on sourdough. I was having trouble reconciling the discard half your starter when feeding, when I came across Carla's recipe for Einkorn starter, and our relationship has begun. I started with Einkorn crackers, since purchasing them was very expensive. I am in process of mastering my crackers, einkorn muffins, and I'm on my 2nd Boule. I love the product and all the extensive help and recipes available. Waiting on more videos. I was crushed when I learned Carla was nolonger with us, but the legacy she has left behind is indeed wonderful.

    I am a type 2 diabetic, and white flour is out for me. So, when searching for alternatives to white flour, I found Jovial Einkorn flour had all the nutrients I needed and none of the negative side effects. I have made a carrot cake, yes, I can have carrot cake, and it was wonderful. The Einkorn flour I have found does everything the white flour used to, but it is good for me. I have also used it for pizza crusts and bread. Great product highly recommend it.
