Made from nature's original wheat, einkorn has remained untouched by modern hybridization and large-scale agriculture for 12,000 years. Einkorn is fast becoming the wheat of choice for the gluten sensitive due to its very weak gluten. All Purpose is a high-extraction, lighter flour that has had 20% of the bran and germ removed after milling and will stay fresh longer. The Story of Jovial and Einkorn

When Carla and Rodolfo had the idea of growing einkorn wheat, there was very little of this grain being cultivated worldwide, so they had to coordinate the farming themselves. Their search led us to this farm, where they had been growing ancient varieties of oats, barley, emmer, lentils, and chick peas for over thirty years. They had never planted einkorn before, and now, only a few years later, we are working together on this project in a perfect partnership committed not only to what we are growing, but how we grow it.

    Rich nutty flavored flour I can tolerate

    I'm grateful for this flour. We've used it for for many years. It tastes amazing and it's a grain I can tolerate. Our family especially loves einkorn sourdough but it's great in cookies and other baked goods too.

    Low gluten, delicious, real food

    Our family of five loves this einkorn flour! We have been using for many years. I remember the first time I made dough with this flour. I felt different, smooth, alive, real… It smelled amazing, too. I fell in love with it then. We have made tons of sourdough bread, bagels, baguettes, crackers, cookies, brownies and croissants.     I can eat bread again!

    I can finally enjoy real bread again! I have been gluten intolerant and allergic for years. Cheating was not an option - the reactions were severe. Then a friend told me about einkorn. Optimistically but also with trepidation I made my first bread in years using einkorn. It was so delicious. Then I waited for a reaction - none! I have since made it with your sourdough starter. So delicious! And no reaction. Thank you!

    Amazing results

    I have been baking Einkorn sandwich bread consistently for at least a year. I will not eat any other bread. I have share loaves with a number of my friends, who also love the taste and texture. The health aspect is an great plus. Worth the extra cost compared to store bought bread.

    I have been purchasing and baking with Jovial all purpose Einkorn for many years. I love it. The product performs consistently well, and tastes great. I love the rewards system and am happy that I can now order on subscription from Jovial Foods. I am using the All purpose Einkorn in my bakery. Cookies, brownies and tarts. People love the flavor and digestability. I used to run a strictly einkorn bakery business in a different state and although it took practice, sourdough einkorn bread can be puffy and delicious.
