Cinnamon-Sugar Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 13-ounce jar Jovial Chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons Jovial 100% Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons unrefined cane sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Spread chickpeas out on a dry, clean towel and allow to air dry for 30 minutes. You want to be sure your chickpeas are completely dry before roasting. Remove any loose skins.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400° F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  3. Place chickpeas on prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven and toss the chickpeas with olive oil, sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Bake for an additional 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy.
  6. Store chickpeas in a dry, airtight container but aim to enjoy them within one day of baking.

Be sure your chickpeas are completely dry before roasting
