The Story of Jovial and Brown Rice

Several years ago, Carla approached a Tuscan pasta factory with the idea of making an organic gluten free pasta with only one ingredient, organic brown rice flour. She also asked that the pasta be pressed with traditional bronze dies, not with the Teflon dies used by today’s large pasta manufacturers. Additionally, the pasta had to be dried at low temperatures. No small feat for gluten free, but she had a hunch that jovial consumers would taste & appreciate the difference.

    Brown Rice Pasta

    This is the best brown rice pasta I have ever tried. I now prefer it over regular pasta and keep a supply on hand at all times. I love that it comes in different shapes. It is delicious!

    Best Ever

    This is fantastic. It holds up like wheat pasta and has the same texture as wheat. I'm never anxious to serve this to guests who eat gluten. They can't tell the difference.

    This pasta is wonderful! It holds up well after cooking, unlike done gluten-free pastas that fall apart after cooking. I use the fusilli for many dishes that require cooking to just before al dente then rewarming in the sauce, and it holds its shape well. The fusilli also tastes great, and I appreciate that my family can't tell the difference when I use it.
