After draining your pasta, simply ...toss in juicy cherry tomatoes and salty tuna with our organic Borlotti Beans and flavorful Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Finish it off with bionaturae Balsamic Vinegar and fresh thyme for a tasty lunch or dinner in a snap. We used our ancient grain Einkorn Fusilli for extra flavor, nutrition, and fuel, but this recipe will be fabulous with your favorite kind of fusilli shape! Tips For Cooking Einkorn pasta (particularly the more fragile long cuts like spaghetti and linguine)
●Cook the pasta in a very large stockpot with lots of boiling water (at least 4 quarts) ●Fill the pot up with enough water so the pasta is nearly covered when you drop them in the pot (standing up) ●Cover the pot until the water boils, because it’s important for the water to come back to a rolling boil quickly ●Once the water boils, cook the pasta uncovered ●Do not stir the pasta until it has softened, after about 1 minute ●Use a long spoon to stir the pasta one time, very gently, reaching down to the bottom of the pot to prevent sticking ●After 5 minutes of cooking, stir the pasta again in the same manner ●Do not stir the pasta more than twice, three times at the most ●Once the pasta is cooked, drain as you normally would, but always use a gentle touch ●You will discover that if you were having problems with breakage before, reducing the stirring will help immensely, and you can enjoy your pasta even more
